Tom had an amazing amateur career winning the Boys amateur Championship, playing in the Walker Cup, recording the lowest round of an amateur in Open Championship history and equal lowest in any major Championship, shooting a 65 in the 2011 Open at Royal St Georges.
Turning professional after the 2011 Walker Cup, Tom had immediate success but struggled to continue his form. In this episode, we discuss the feeling of the leading the Open as an amateur, the reasons for losing his form, the importance of working on your strengths and not your weaknesses and so much more.
