Will this work for woods and hybrids as well, or should I use this strictly for irons?
    Thanks guys

    1. Piers Ward

Hi Gord great question, yes we would want this with fairway metals and hybrids not so much with the driver, but I wouldn’t necessarily have it as a conscious thought with the hybrids and fairway metal…

Thanks a lot Piers, love the site and the love the quick turn around on responses.

Hi. My shots are short and high and sometimes i top or duff so probably early release. In your shot fixer are several drills to fix this. Should i try one at a time and see what happens to my swing or…

    1. Andy

Hi Ulirk. Thanks for the comment and question. One thing that is really important for you is to make sure the club face is doing a good job in the back swing. We often see that the ‘Early Release” swi…

Hi. I will add this drill to coaching plan brake 90 week 3. It will help be more consistent and feel more energy in impact. Thanks for this drill 😉

    1. Piers Ward

Hey no worries Petr, keep us updated with how it goes.

      Thanks Piers

Excellent result I had yesterday. I am starting to play pure draw 🙂 Sometimes I hit fat shots but improving quickly:-) 7 iron = 140 m . I have titleist CB 718 on stiff…

        1. Piers Ward

Excellent Petr! Great stuff… have you seen the white line drill we do in Break 100, 90 and Strike your irons pure? That will help you understand the strikes your getting.

          Thanks Piers

Could you dedicate a whole chapter on this part, combining it with the hips too please ? This part especially: https://gyazo.com/d2e3d3dc1aa3d94fff0b08d21a038e20 with slow motion moves allowing to se…

  5. Bernardo L.

Can you work on a video to show a drill for release I currently not able to release so all my shots go to the right sometimes I do a release and that’s when I hit the straight shots anything can help …

    1. Andy

Hi Bernardo. If you are struggling to square the club face up then it may even be due to the back swing. Creating a more “square-strong” face in the back swing will just allow you to be less active wit…

  6. Tim E.

    Hi guys,

I am really struggling with getting the lower body moving/rotating first in the downswing through to the finishing position. As a result, my ball striking is very inconsistent. Do you have …

    1. Andy

Hi Tim. Thanks for the comment. This can be tricky but the first thing to check is that your club face is good in the back swing. You won’t rotate well if the face is open. We do have a few drills. …

      1. Tim E.

Thanks Andy. I’ll give that a go and let you know how I progress.

        Kind regards,
        Tim

Great Tim. Keep me posted and enjoy the rest of the weekend.

          Thanks

  7. Tim E.

Hi guys. I’m looking at training aids to improve my swing, etc. Have you ever used or recommended the Orange whip trainer? Is it worth the money?

    Kind regards
    Tim

    1. Andy

Hi Tim. Thanks for the question. Yes we have used that and we like it for a couple of reasons. It is a great warm up tool and good for rythm and creating a good turn. They key when choosing a training…
