    Do you always keep the ball one club head length inside your left foot? I always have it in the centre of my stance unless hitting a hybrid or a wood.

      That is a great guide for most irons yes but it will vary depending on the golfer. We always like to see the ball forward of the stance as it helps with power and direction.
