Vacancy: Social Media Marketing Manager

Here at Me and My Golf we’re looking for a Social Media Marketing Manager to come join our world-class team.  

The successful candidate will be tasked with managing Me and My Golf’s social media marketing channels, with a primary focus on driving engagement amongst our one million+ followers and improving social to membership conversions. You will embrace the company’s overall mission to positively impact as many golfers lives as we can.

Working alongside the rest of the marketing team, as well as Piers and Andy (the coaches), you will be the go-to person in the business for all things social.

The day-to-day-stuff…

  • Responsible for the engagement and growth of all social platforms (X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn)
  • Monitor and analyse data, to make consistent improvements, to drive results.
  • Drive traffic from social to key marketing funnels to help increase membership subscriptions
  • Work with the Digital Marketing Manager to ensure the user journey from social to membership is optimized
  • Liaise with the video team to ensure content is correctly sized and edited to help achieve the best possible engagement
  • Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on key social metrics
  • Monitor competitors and the golf landscape on social media and suggest influencer talent that we can collaborate with to help grow our channels
  • Line Manage the Social Video Editor
  • Have a particular focus on monetisation of content and use analytics to help increase wherever possible
  • Maintain and update the social content calendar, ensuring all team members have visibility
  • Ability to create and edit new image/video-based content using ‘on the go’ social apps
  • Work closely with the Brand & Partnerships Director to ensure all partner requirements are met and consistently suggest new ways of promoting each partnership
  • Work with the Paid Media Manager to ensure organic and paid strategies are aligned
  • Constantly improving your knowledge on social media marketing
  • Implement a clear tone of voice, consistent with the company’s values

Who we’re looking for…

  • Experience marketing on multiple social media channels for a reputable brand
  • Experience working with influencers is desirable
  • Great understanding of all social platforms and the key metrics to improve performance on each
  • Experience working within a marketing team
  • Ability to take a set of analytics and turn them into a format which is easy to digest for various stakeholders
  • Experience writing good social copy to engage and hit marketing goals.
  • Experience and understanding of a successful ‘social to checkout’ process.
  • Although not essential, an understanding of golf and it’s ever changing landscape

Job specifics: Full-time role (£32,000 to £40,000 a year) plus benefits.
